I wasn't very happy with the previous Ethnic Britain themed pattern I had done for the Cath Kidston brief for the YCN Awards, I felt that the layout was too uniform.

For one of my new uni projects we have had to pick two of this years YCN Awards briefs.  The two I picked were to create a new pattern for Cath Kidston and to recreate the back of Bear's Alphabites cereal boxes.  This is one of my idea for the Cath Kidston brief, the idea was to create an Ethnic Britain themed pattern.
